Week 1 - Messages of Wisdom and Messages of Knowledge

 

  • Read 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
  • Does anything stand out to you when reading this passage?
  • When it comes to Messages of Wisdom, how do you feel about this gift? Share your thought process.
  • When it comes to Messages of Knowledge, how do you feel about this gift? Share your thought process.
  • Do you have experience with these gifts? Explain if possible.
  • What happens when these gifts are misused or abused? What should we, as the church body, be aware of?
  • Are you interested in receiving/using these gifts?
  • Prayer time and exercise the gifts - take time to pray and request the release of the gifts by the Holy Spirit - wait on Him and allow time for the gift(s) to manifest. Be encouraged to step and share anything you sense the Holy Spirit speaking to you. This is a safe space to experiment and step out in boldness. You don’t have to be perfect, just be willing to take a risk.
