9 SQUARE IN THE AIR is one of our preteens' favourite games to play together. A quick moving game, with players moving through a raised grid, trying to keep the ball from touching down in their square, in an attempt to reach the "King"/"Queen" square! If the ball lands in their square they move to the back of the grid and start again. Tons of fun! We will be playing this game in the breezeway in front of the church. For this game we cannot maintian a distance of 2 meters so we require preteens wear a face mask. Before playing preteens will need to have their temperature taken, sanitize their hands, and be checked in by a leader
Preteens are required to register so we have access to emergency contacts and any pertinent health concerns. They will be checked in upon arrival. If you have not yet registered your preteen, or they are bringing a friend who has not yet registered, please do so online & have printed off and filled out your regsitration form for the Preteen 2020/2021year. *We will be encouraging preteens to social distance, sanitize their hands upon arrival, and before and after the use of the shared game equipment. We will be checking temperatures upon arrival. We encourage preteens to wear masks because it can be hard to remember to social distance - some games may require masks because social distancing will be difficult.
*Please recognize there is risk in gathering. We cannot guarantee they will not be inadvertently exposed to COVID19.
DO NOT SEND YOUR PRETEEN IF THEY SHOW ANY SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS OR IF THEY HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDED FOR 14 DAY QUARANTINE FOR ANY REASON IN THE LAST 14 DAYS.
