Staying Connected at WestWinds

Been wondering how we’re planning to help you stay connected to the church during this time? Here are all the ways that our church is planning to connect you and your family virtually!

Sunday Services:
We’ve got 3 ways for you to join our Sunday service at 10am:
1. Go to https://westwinds.online.church/ to stream the service.
2. Join the Facebook livestream on our page: https://www.facebook.com/WestWindschurch/
3. Watch the message on Instagram (IGTV): https://www.instagram.com/westwindschurch/
Pajamas, bedhead, and coffee encouraged. See you at 10am!

Kids Ministries:
Join Pastor Karalee for a video devotional and object lesson for kids that ties into the sermon series. These will be posted on Sunday nights at 6pm.
WestWinds Kids Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/419253654884064/
WestWinds Kids Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/westwindskids/
Join the group and follow her Instagram account for more devotionals and activities posted throughout the week!

Cause Youth:
Pastor Christian and the youth leaders are connecting with teenagers throughout the week on Instagram. Follow them here: https://www.instagram.com/causeyouth/ (or follow @CauseYouth).
They go live on Friday nights from 7pm-8pm, and post daily activities and events!

Young Adults:
Pastor Cleria will be hosting online meetups for our Young Adults Network on Sunday nights at 7pm!
Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa and click the link below to join her on Zoom at 7pm!
Sunday March 22 (Cocoa with Cleria): https://zoom.us/j/969223112
Sunday March 29 (Cupcakes with Cleria): https://zoom.us/j/513030954

Life Groups:
Pastor Elyse will be posting a weekly reflection on the Psalms at  https://westwinds.online.church/. Join the stream at 7pm Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (the video will be the same for the week) to live chat with other people directly on that page.
A host from our pastoral team will be online to facilitate questions and receive prayer requests.

Prayer:
Keep an eye out for Facebook Live prayer meetings, where a member of our staff can receive prayer requests in real-time and pray for them on the Live. More private prayer meetings through Zoom calls may also be happening. We’ll keep you up to date as we plan them!

Finally, though we as a church can facilitate opportunities for connection, don’t forget to take the steps to stay connected! Call a friend or fellow church member, check on a neighbour (at a distance), and join our streams. We recognize that it is a blessing to have the means that we do to keep connected through technology!

Stay safe!
